Known and attributed as one of the most relevant gay neighborhoods in America, the circle is home a bevy of GLBT interest stores including the city's oldest GLBT bookstore, Lambda Books. Designer boutiques like Betsy Fisher and high-end vintage stores like Secondi fringe the area's famous fountain in Dupont Park. Dupont Circle is also home to one of the nation's most lauded farmer's markets, FreshFarm Market.
Dupont Circle is a very attractive and trendy area of DC. There's shops all around the circle and a great selection of places to find lunch or dinner. Bookstores, clothing shops, and coffeeshops are just some of the places to walk into while you're here.
